Phobia Types...
All of us have some kind of phobia or other. Mostly we tend add the word "Phobia" to the "Kind of fear" to refer, which is not the right way. Here you go with some phobia's.
Well... I have Gamophobia. I get an awful feeling of losing my freedom when someone suggests me to get married.
- Fear of pain - Algophobia
- Fear of number 13 - Triskaidekaphobia (Candy for sure, if you pronounce it without difficulty)
- Fear of fire - Pyrophobia
- Fear of doctors - Iatrophobia
- Fear of dancing - Chorophobia
- Fear of Friday the 13th - Paraskavedekatriaphobia (Icecream for sure, if you pronounce it without difficulty)
- Fear of marriage - Gamophobia

GAMOPHOBIA
This state of mind is commonly found in all single-persons, especially in a society which glorifies marriage.
This condition in its milder virility is found in soldiers preparing for wars and in students on the eve of their exams.
There is no known cure, except that when the event takes over, one doesn't have the time to get in touch with that FEAR.The only complication that is known to arise in some rare and extreme cases is the mutation of gamophobia into misogamy. In India the social environ affords a natural protection against gamophobia mutating into misogamy (hatred for marriage ).
One small little consolation :
Lesser mortals have dared into marriage and have survived, albeit, just about.
You are bound to fall into the general category is my prognosis....
Nothing like doing it and getting over it, than dreading it all the while .
With your best interest at heart, I wish you
ALL THE BEST AND THERES GOD TO TAKE CARE OF THE REST
