Have you ever imagined there would be a nation's capital city without any traffic lights? Atleast I never thought such a city would exist. But it does Cool

Any guess what is the city & country it could be? Make a guess before you scroll down for the answer

Well if you haven't figured out... Its Thimphu, Bhutan's capital which doesn't have any traffic lights at all. Moreover if I'm not wrong it has got only two fuel stations and both of them are operated by Bharat Petroleum Very Happy

Cheers

Traffic Signal - Who needs ????

Post  Admin on Wed Sep 03, 2008 5:42 pm

Thanks for that info on Bhutan's capital. Tells me to add this city to the list of my 'Don't drive' cities.

That reminds me of a video that I recently saw. One of my colleague had sent it to me. Since I can't post that video in this forum, I have given here the link for that video - Youtube link. The video claims to have been shot in India. Doesn't matter. The point is if you have such skillful drivers then WHO NEEDS TRAFFIC SIGNALS

Bye for now.
